Suggestion: Beta patch

I have a suggestion for Matrix regarding the patch: Release the patch itself in "beta" form. Explain that it's not quite ready, but you need more testing. We're all big boys; if our copy crashes, we know how to reinstall it. Plus, those who don't like risk can simply not install it until it is fully released.
