CHS Question

I'm playing CHS 156, v2.08. I understand that Advanced Nakajima and Advanced Mitsubishi engines show up as Toyoda and Nissan in the pools on the Industry/Resource screen. However, both factories in Kanazawa have been turned on for a while, but nothing is showing up in the pool.

Does this mean the factories are not producing? Or is it some consequence of the substitution, and they really are producing?

Anyone seen this?

Thanks

What's the game date?? Check with the editor and you will see these factories have a start date (as you would expect... [;)] )

This is not a CHS issue - but an WITP issue.

If no engines show up as consumed, you are not making any. If no aircraft needing that engine are made and no
engines produce, it ic certain production is zero.

This often happens. It is a function first of all of HI points at that location, and second, of total HI points.

In CHS I think these engines are delayed - you will get no production until after their initial build date either.

In RHS we have three similar engines - in "-rd" status. It prevents a player from stockpiling engines for later planes in 1941.

YOU control HI points - turn off consumers of them until they produce - supply enough recources and oil - and it will work.

Yes, that is the problem. One is set to 4212, the other 4309. I'm currently in September 42. I don't need them yet, was just checking to see how the name-switch worked.

Production is otherwise working just fine.

Thanks, Reg!
