Spanish Gold

I've seen the game give me a modifier of -11 on the Spanish Gold convoy. According to the manual, there's a possible modifier of -2 if at war with UK (which was NOT the case) -- so how is this possible?

The -11 to the Spanish Gold roll started exactly when I started doing EM -- specifically, the +1 PP for -11 $. The program must then be applying the -11 ALSO to the convoy roll, which means automatic capture (because it's impossible to roll higher than 2 with a -11 mod). Bug.

Confirmed. Just ran a test in which I did EM the other way -- -2 PP for $9. Roll of 8, mod=+9, roll = 17 -- resulting in zero gold, probably running off the array into some zero bytes. Was curious to see whether it'd give me a segmentation fault or a freaky not-on-table number.

This is a bug that we fixed in the 1.01 patch.
