Two questions to Vic

1-A few weeks latter, a member of this community noticed that it is possible to build huge maps (bigger than 200x200). Do you confirm this? Will the game player correctly? What would be the true limit?
2-Is it possible to implement true alliances in the game? Meaning that allied units can get into allied players territories? I know that the current version doesn´t allow it, but maybe it could be changed in a future version? I think that once it is achieved, AT will be ale to simulate any conflict at strategic level.
3-How many regimes we could edit? If we edit more than 9 regimes, how will the computer define what are the 9 players??

it would be great to have forces in allied territories but it poses some probelms, how to handle territory captuerd from allied territory but with your own forces, supplies and visibility
visibility is especially tricky since the enemy is moving between allies. maby a sort of half-visibility should be introduced, you will see not only what your own units see but also what your allied saw when he was done with his turn. still tricky to handle availability for airstikes and such things.

Hi there Bombur,

Always glad to answer some questions.

1. Yes i can confirm.

2. Maybee. No promises here. It is something that would impact the engine on many levels.

3. There is no limit. (though playing with more then 9 players in ATs i- go-u go will be very very cumbersome)

Kind regards,
Vic

Thank you Vic, and sorry for the extra question (I remember to formulate it after I was finishing the second one[:D])
