Playing the game and learning some of the basics.
Just playing radom scenarios that I create, just too get a feel for the game. Had no time to print the manual so I haven't really read much of the manual yet, so maybe some of my questions are little dumb.I want to have a copy by monday evening. But it would be nice to know the following.

What should the ideal division consist of?
Should I just make entire Inf division and seperate Tank divisions?
Staff? Are they just for HQ or do they fulfill other roles?

How do I know if my units have enough supply? not enough supply? or that my Hq is producing too much supply?
If I have too much how do I get"rid" of it?

Cheers
Mat

Hi Mat,

There are no completely right or wrong answers to the make-up of divisions.

Staff are best left just in HQs.

Supply is a little tricky. Best to read the manual about this.

I would suggest you have a quick read through the AARs as they explain the hows and whys of the game from different player's perspectives.

Whole threads devoted to this discusion so you should probably read through them for thoughts. No cut and dried answer.[/color]

HQ mainly - though in a pinch, they fight like rifle. Mainly needed in Tactical HQ's as they give combat benefits to subordinate units.

Check unit stats in window for individual units -it will show supply requested and supply in.

For looking at whole Organization - go to the detail stats menu (looks like a chart button), click on Supply tab and check different HQ's for summary of supply status.

Or select an HQ on Map, click the Supply button to see the supply distribution potential from that HQ.
