To Mecklenburg!

OK, this is a weird one. Playing Prussia, France is under enforced peace. (Though Prussia is not.) Was just scrolling through the report window (to see if Britain accepted my offer of alliance), when I see "France has declared war on Mecklenburg".
I own Mecklenburg. In fact, I just created the Confederation of the Rhine, including Mecklenburg. (Maybe has something to do with the bug?)
I click on Mecklenburg to see who they think they're at war with. No France, just the list of countries Prussia is at war with.
Click on France. It does think it's war with Mecklenburg. (But not Prussia.)

Gets even weirder. In the reinforcement phase, the game prompts Prussia that there are unplaced factors for the Mecklenburg Free State. But if you go to Mecklenburg and click on it, it shows no available factors, and says (correctly) that it is part of Prussian-controlled Conf. of the Rhine.
Then the next diplomacy phase the war between France and Mecklenburg lapses, and that is the end of the parallel universe.

This was a failed attempt at British Propaganda against you. It's a sign. Beware, the brits are gonna subtract from your Victory Points every possible phase after they go to war against you. Strike now while you can!! Declare war on france, put army at the crossing arrow into GB, the declare war on him first! Now you can march across if the staight was empty before, cuz the damn AI aint tried to stop me even once...yet.

You can invade Britain by sea, too, if you're not France. At least, from what I've seen, the AI does a reasonable job at blockading the French fleet (though I can usually get past eventually). But any other country they leave alone. I once got an unconditional from Britain as Prussia, landing a couple of corps in Scotland using nothing but herring boats (unescorted transport fleet, completely ignored by Royal Navy).
Next time I played France, I tried that with the French transport fleet, thinking maybe the AI ignored anything that wasn't warships. They were immediately captured by the British navy....

Confirmed bug. Looks like the program has a conflict with Mecklenburg. Noticed that in the Current Nation window under “Free states”, Mecklenburg shows up there, even though the program also recognizes it as a component of the CoR. Thanks again.
