Recommendation:
Until such time as an auto backup function is implemented, PBEM hosts should use the “create backups” button in the Admin Menu once every game month (the program will overwrite any existing backup files). Should unforeseen issues arise, these backup files will allow your game to resume from that point.

In a PBEM game,
After 2 month : files in the commin folder = 114,6 MO [X(]
I suppose that it is possible to delete some ????
Previous turns ?
Every month : save GAME.sav and GAME.dat and delete previous .pbm turn files.
That's right ?

La Provence,
Yes. You can delete a .pbm once you have processed it.

La Provence:
In addition to Dauphan's suggestion that you can delete them, you could also consider zipping them up for a few turns, just in case you have to go back. These things zip to about 1/100 of their original size (they're flat-file text databases: Only 1% non-white space).

As host, I make backups of GAME.SAV and GAME.SAV.DAT periodically; if something catastrophic happens, I can go back to a previous .sav file and create backup files from there.
