I'm hard at work on my new PT masterfile for a fantasy setting. I tyhought I'd have a kick around with it on a random map, but when i select that file to make a random map i get an unhandled exception error. Any idea why? Is it maybe because I've set the people to orcs, elves, humans etc? Do the random map states need universals or something?

Did you start creating the master file by loading the generic.ptmaster or did you start with a senario. Also, perhaps you made a change in one of the setting, but didn't change something else. I know there are a lot of interelated items.

Maybe post a few more details, also screen shot showing error? Though it's hard to track down some errors (well - not hard for Vic apparently - he does it like flash).

Surely you have it, traitor, you just sent me a turn there like a couple days ago. Germany's address in the Nubsauce Deluxe game.

Ok I'm not sure how the game makes random maps but you only got one single unit available and it has most of its characteristics at 0. I'm thinking the game just has no clue what to do. My masterfile keeps all default units and I just add additional ones.

OK, I'll try that, I guess i just have to make the other units non producable?
