Well yesterday i tried to get a glimpse about the game and startet a testgame. It´s a longe time since a played the boardgame.

I started a game as Austria and noticed some strange AI actions. Although doing nothing mad, i solely influenced some nations to ally with me (Bavaria, Modena) AI nations were jumping on me. DOW of France was the most understandable thing...but Dow of Preussia and Russia???? Additional GB dowed Preussia.....imo such Dows srew up the game in favour of France.
Despite their dows neither preussia nor russia moved units into my territory only France moved Napoleon with one single corps!!! to tyrol. Mack bravely attacked him and captured the big guy.[:D] Seeing such dumb diplomatic and strategic behavier i doubt that the AI is capable to give a good game. Any comments?

Unfortunately you're right, and the AI behavior in your game is far from unusual; one of the biggest (buggest?) problem is with Prussia- GB DOWing each other.

Anyway, did you upgrade to 1.01 beta 2? I stopped playing against the AI almost immediately, but someone told me that it's getting better with the last version.

I bought the game on sunday an installed the latest patch i guess this should be 1.01b 2
