Hallo CS community
Thus altogether not new, that was already clear me. What is with real changes in the play? matrix-games and talon- soft should finally our play as Open-source arrange! Therefore my call: Release the engine code - all are to be able to work on it.
O P E N S O U R C E for JTCS - otherwise passes here nothing more - except this kindergarden tinker-handicraft of certain Americans !!!

O P E N S O U R C E for JTCS
Sonst passiert hier nichts mehr- außer diesen Kindergartenbasteleien gewisser Amerikaner !!!

Hear me now and believe me later. Really, ya. We are sad, you know, because anyone who calls us "stupid" is really just jealous. because their girlfriend looks at us, then looks at him, and realzies she's cuddling up with a little girly-man... [;)]

Jason, am anxiously (and patiently) awaiting 1.03.[:)]
It sounds like the best thing since sliced bread!
The teaser screen has several hints that point to great "Dynamic". I enjoy "Linked" but have moved to "Dynamic" until the "shooting horse" gets fixed in 1.03.[:D]
Please ignore that sour grapes guy [>:] whose name says it all. I suggest we all do.

When the new patch is available is it going to effect our saved games???  Are we going to have to start over on our campaigns??  Not that I care, I'm looking forward to the new patch :)

PBEM should NOT be affected

Linked Campaigns should NOT be affected

Dynamic Campaigns WILL BE affected and will REQUIRE a restart.

Good Day Jason,
Will the new patch affect modifications I have done to the game such as alternate sounds (weapons firing, tank sounds, assault and weapons impact etc) as well as objective icons and unit bases with Swastika and Hammer and Sickle etc? I remember the assault sounds were changed and I had to reinstall the "Sannitator, Sannitator" ogg files when the first patch was released.

Thanks for all the great work!

It should not affect sounds, I do not believe there are any sounds that overwrite the existing ones, with the exception of the assault sounds. (Don't forget this is a cumulative update, so everything in 1.01 and 1.02 will be included in the 1.03 UPDATE)

The objective icons and units bases will most likely be affected, yes.

I would recommend saving any mod files that you are using in a separate folder, and then re-copy and paste them back into the installation. Your mods should still work, but should be added after the 1.03 UPDATE is installed.

Jason,

I'm pretty sure quite a few of us don't need or want the video tutorials.
Any possibility of offering those later as a separate download?
(Then you could release the patch sooner.)[:D]
Also, those videos must pack a ton of megabytes onto the size of the patch.

Understood, of course.

The primary video tutorials I would like to complete for the release are those explaining how simple it is to put together your own scenario. There have been a lot of requests for help with scenario design and it is far easier to show someone how to do it than explain it in writing.

Tactical tutorials can be saved for a later UPDATE if the community is OK with that.

Looking forward to the update. Thanks for all the hard work to all involved.
