I'm not sure what happened, but here is the situation.

I got the game, and played it a bit, then put it aside, waiting for patches and so forth to happen.

Now, when I try to load the game, I get a black screen, with a white box outline on it. Nothing else happens.

Any thoughts?

Sounds like your CODECS for playing the intro video has been lost???
Try downloading the latest CODEC then retry...
