Problem with Basics, Ammo, and Fuel Allocations in Under Strength Units?

I noticed that under-strength units are allocated exactly the same level of basics, fuel, and ammo as full strength units. If you create an under-strength unit in the scenario editor, it will show that basics, fuel, and ammo are proportionately reduced relative to the estab; however, if you look at the same unit when running the game, the basics, fuel, and ammo levels show up as identical to the estab levels.

I don't believe this is intended, as a 25% strength unit should probably not be able to carry the same level of supplies as a full strength unit.

This issue appears to show up in all the existing scenarios where under-strength units are used. An example is "Iraklion Historical Scenario". Check out the "A Coy 2/4 Au Inf Bn" in the "14th UK Inf Bde". This unit is 47% of strength, and yet its basics, fuel, and ammo are the same as the estab. A look in the editor at this scenario indicates a lower level of these values are intended.

Perhaps there is an error in the scenario editor that saves the estab basics, fuel, and ammo values to the unit instead of the under-strength values?

Regards,

Rich

Rich,

Thanks for drawing this to our attention. I'll chech it ou. It may miss the cut for COTA Patch 3 but I have raised a TaskTracker item for it.

You bet Dave!

You've got a great game here with a very elegant game engine. I love both COTA and HTTR.
