I've seen such games, both in PS and in real life (My real life experience was at Busch Stadium, 8/3/61. Pittsburgh slammed the Cardinals 19-0. It's the only time I ever saw my mother cry in public. [:(]). I call it "pitchers take a holiday." And, you can win a game like that and the very next day get beat like a drum by the same team. Go figure.

Ouch! Yeah I remember in the late 70's a barn burner between the Cubs and Phillies, both scoring in the 20's or something like that, but to score 21 runs in a WS game , wow. Love this game, because it is a game and a fictional universe that I play, I'm not a replay guy so I don't play sim games to see how "realistic" it is, it is a game, I like to watch the world unfold and develope before me.

Just now my 2010 Marlins beat the Atlanta braves in a massive slugfest, 20-8. There were 7 HRs, 8 doubles and 32 hits between both teams; Josh Willingham alone notched 6 RBI. Observe:
