simcountry?

Has anybody played, or checked out, the online game called simcountry?

It has a "world" with, like, 6000 countries, many of which have human leaders, others are still computer-led. It seems to have complex economic, etc., management, and you can make deals with other players and so forth. It may be appealing mainly to people who like to manage a lot of detail, but I am not sure, since the diplomatic-military aspect obviously adds another dimension. You can play for a month for free but, after that, it is $12 for every three months.

If anyone has impressions or has heard anything about the game, I'd like to hear about it.

Tropico comes close to being that :). One of my all time favorites.
I would love to see the ideas expanded.

Isn't Battlegoats game almost like a country sim btw? Sequel coming out this year.

I've never heard of it either. I thought I knew of almost every game too, huh.
