Why is it not available in Australia? Will it ever be?

Through us BOB2 is only available for sale in North America due to contractual limitations.

Probably because it is less than half the price in Australia.
Only AUD 9.95 (or about USD 9.00) for a physical CD version.

As Marc noted, by contract we are only allowed to sell this one in North America. This is similar and contemporary to the deal we made for UFO: Extraterrestrial. Because of customer feedback, we're not planning to make new deals that restrict us from selling globally but some were already done.

Because the retail Australian pricing is lower than you would charge (based on comparing your US vs Australian pricing on other products), getting rights to sell in Australia is moot!

Bink,
Anywhere a game has gone to retail, there's likely a budget deal out there since extra games often get passed around the various channels for years getting discounted more and more. The point you seem to want to hammer home is not really news to any educated game consumer. What we offer is the updated version with our serial system and our support, which for some folks is worth the price (which is hardly high at $19.99 for a download).
As you also noted, it's not even possible for folk in Australia to buy our version due to contractual limitations, so your point really is moot as well.
Regards,
- Erik

Erik,
My point is not moot because you stated that you will not be doing any future deals which restrict you from selling globally. If this is the case, you will not sell a title because you cannot get global rights, but I don't think this is a relevant consideration if local market pricing of a game is lower than your planned pricing.
Also, as far as I can tell, the game sold in Australia is the same as yours.
Regards,
Bink
