Yes I have, I'm very new to Matrix Games so I usually don't get half the questions people ask me. I've tried to get as much help as possible.

Ok,

The first thing you need to do is read this :

m.asp?m=1177162

It contains all the things you should check and how to check them.

If that fails you could post a gamelog which may have pointers as to what's wrong - how to find that log can be found here :

m.asp?m=1177153

Finally, you could post a DirectX diagnostic file - find out how to do that here :

m.asp?m=1176885

The best place to get help is in the Panzer Command tech forum, so if I were you I'd post everything there.

With what ? The links I gave you have pretty good instructions on what to do - read them - do what they say - if you find the info is too difficult you'll have to ask a more specific question.

The first one I don't understand i'm really not that good at computers, the second one I don't know how to do and I just finished the third one with nothing wrong.  The first two I need more specific directions.

Maybe you should go back here: Where you posted at 8 this morning You did get a response on that thread. You are going to have to answer questions like Eddy has tried to tell you. No one can magically fix this without you answering them.

Your first post was at 8:01AM today and I'm replying at 10:18AM on the same day. I hope that's not really the hardest thing you've ever done.

First, please post a DxDiag file for us. Also, look in the Logs folder of your installation and post your most recent log. That should give us an idea of what's going on.

Did you make sure to allow BOTH the .NET AND DirectX installers to run? If you have an integrated non-DirectX 9 video chipset, you may also want to try this update:

Eddy, I don't know how to get a log file.  You're info. was very specific but I am new and don't know how to access stuff like that. Also, I don't know what half the stuff for the first suggestion are and/or how to access it.

Follow his link for how to post the dxdiag file. It is incredibly easy. Just click the link and follow the directions.


Here it is if you can't follow the link:

How to get a Directx Diagnostic (DxDiag) file:

1. click on "START"
2. click "run"
3. type in "dxdiag" and click "OK"
4. check through the tabs and perform all tests
5. click "Save all Information..." and save the text file to a location of your choice

The support forum for Panzer Command includes instructions on generating a DxDiag file. To get the log file, just go to your installation folder in Windows Explorer and look for the logs folder, then post the newest file inside it.

The other thread I linked to included the patch file, just unzip it on your installation folder to try that out.

How do I embead it in a message???
