.. or does anyone else find this game extremely difficult? Even with the difficulty on the easiest setting, I barely complete any missions even in the first campaign. Especially when I get the missions for attacking the Foothills Base I can barely get in close enough to fire missiles at it before the AAA and SAM sites get me. Anyone have any ideas?

Guess so...anyways. Here's another question... does anyone know why sometimes the objectives are not marked complete? Like the last mission I did, the objectives where to Destoy a Detroyer and return saftly to base. Ok, well, I destoyed the ship, and I waited for the 3 other wingmen to dock in the station, but at the debreifing screen, the objectives were not marked complete. But in the mission before that, it was to destroy an enemy fighter wing, a different wing than mine destroyed my objective, and it was marked as complete, as well as the return to base saftly obj. *scratches head* I hope this makes sense, because it surely is frustrating, because I think I am missing out on points. Thanks for the help.

It isn't ALL you. Starshatter isn't the easiest simulation to succeed in.
Yes, the dynamic campaign mission creation mechanics are mysterious and can be problematic. [:(]
That's why nobody has modded a new original dynamic campaign. [:(]
I can only guess that a particular destroyer was required to be destoryed in that particular mission. If one destroyed a destroyer that wasn't designated as the primary target, one may not receive objective credit.
Try re-running that mission to see if destroying another destroyer gives you credit for objective completion.
Of course... I'm speaking from my original mission creation work... not the missions created by the dynamic mission program.
