1.02 patch status

Hello all:
I know Richard mentioned this in a few threads but I wanted to make a thread that was
just a quick update to let you know that we are mainly working some issues with the temporary access rule that we are implementing in 1.02. We want to make sure that we get this right since it is a pretty big change from 1.01x.
In case you did not know, we're going to allow a temporary access after a peace is settled that will allow the MPs to move out of the nation on their own as opposed to the engine automatically repatriating the forces thus creating those pesky little island problems where units could get trapped without access out. We also need to make sure that we evacuate all provincial capitals as well.
We'll keep you posted...

Is there a list of things that will be fixed in 1.02 yet?
no rush just wondering [:D]

Will this patch also improve the AI performance or is it only to correct the bugs?

They did say at start, first patches supposed to take care of bugs, then after they will try improve the ai.
So Dont expect to much there yet.

Hopefully, we will be releasing to BETA in the next day or two. We're almost there and making tweaks on a few stubborn issues.

And if these stubborn issues still exist in a couple, then you will see 1.02 anyway and then 1.02a on its heels.

It’s the 3-month temp access function and also that ½ trade issue you reported Jimmer. We will likely concede some small holes in the temp access function for 1.02 and address what is leftover in 1.02a. We have sat on this patch long enough.

Both of those can be lived with. Well, the first might be a bit of a problem if one loses the forces if they don't make it out. If that's the case, I would suggest making it 12 months (i.e. infinity), and let the players enforce it among themselves, just to get the patch out.
