Pitchers winning the Best Pitcher Award

Am I remembering wrong?
I thought the pitcher who won the Best Pitcher Award (equivalent to ROY for pitchers) always had the ROY show on their player card under their Career Stats screen? I've went back and checked other past winners and none of them are showing the ROY on their player cards (for pitchers).
I have confirmed that this award for the pitchers does indeed exist in the Awards table of the associations database, but just doesn't get displayed on the pitchers player card.
Does anybody else recall whether this award for pitchers used to be displayed as ROY for pitchers on their player card (under Career Stats) in the past? Or, am I now "mis-remembering" too? [:D]
