Issue with displayed supply costs

Hi Vic,
If you assign a supply cost to various engineering tasks, there seems to be an issue with the supply costs displayed. The game shows the cost in terms of supplies, but the actual value seems to be related to RuleVar 77. See the below screenshot for an example.

For example, if RuleVar 77 is set to 3, and the display shows 1000 supplies being necessary for constructing a factory, then the actual supply expenditure is only 333. I noticed in the editor when setting this cost under the LocType / Statistics Property Sheet, the Supply Cost is in terms of production points spent. It seems the rate is tied to RuleVar 77. Is this true, or is there another RuleVar that I'm missing?

Also, a related question. Is it possible to set a supply cost for road building? I see EP costs are set for roads/bridges, but there is no way to set a supply cost that I can spot.

hi Jamiam,

yes you are right. the displayed SUP values are 3 times to high, they should have been divided by rulevar(77).
next version this will display correctly. but it is the display of the cost thats incorrect, the actual supply used is as it should be.

and no you cant set supply needed to build roads. its a good idea though to make this possible for future versions.

kind regards,
vic
