Old Commodore 64 Games

I had to bring this up, as motnahp reminded me in a PM of these things. Thanks for jogging my memory, my friend. My first computer baseball game was a C64 thing called "PureStat", and I had a lot of fun with it.
He mentioned "Statis Pro", which I never owned, but the thing is that many of us played computer baseball games back in the Stone Age of home computers.
Before that, it was tabletop games. Yes, I played APBA, and still have it stashed away, along with cardsets of classic past teams.
That being said, PureSim is an heir of these games. I don't have cards to hold, dice to throw, and playboards to consult. The tactile sense is gone, but now it's a new world. You younger guys don't have any idea how long we wanted something like PureSim to come along. This is why I have no problem with playing out each game. It's all right in front of me, with real parks and players to live out my managerial dreams.
