SET FileS

I have unzipped these with 7Zip, but still cannot open them! What is needed to open these?

.set files do not need to be unzipped. If you mean my zipSetups.zip or the FrGrandCamp..Tutoreal.zip, just use the Windows extract function (rt click on the program and choose 'extract' from the choices).

Have done that, Starting from: Zipped Folder 5154F6A412DF42A0B47EADB .......I am left with a folder 'zipSetups' Inside this are 7 files, ie
Augrandcampaign_Aus...

There are 7 small icons which all have a small pic' on, they won't even 'preview' I cannot find anything which will open these! Sorry!

You have to start the game and then use the 'load set up' button for the relevant nation. Move the 7 setups to the SETUPS file in your Matrix file and then see the tutorial here:
http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=1693001 and it is the 17th box (the one after the interrupting commentary) that shows the relevant button with a red arrow.

Murat, you'll now be tut tutting and shaking your head !!!!! WHY! brecause I haven't bought the game yet!!
I had thought to peruse the tutorials first as I have read so many differing reports about it being not to good for solo players + having a duff AI.
But thanks for your input It is appreciated. I have been a board gamer for a zillion years and mostly Napoleonic ones. I have re-fought 'Waterloo' etc many many times!
I would love to buy this, Just unsure of how good it is. So your advice also on that will much appreciated as well
