I'm hosting a PBEM game that has four actual players, and I'm playing the other three powers. However, I can't seem to find a way to do that within the interface. Am I limited to having only one MP to play? I would hate to have the AI play the nations, because they might go to war.

Hmmmm.  It might ge ta little tedious, but can you assign them to yourself one at a time, transferring host power each time, and either moving save files around (to avoid overwriting) or generating backup saves?

Maybe. Gwheelock gave me some suggestions, too.

Yes, but it won't let me play them on the same system. There's only one "saved game file".
 
What Gwheelock suggested (by phone) will probably work: Create a dummy folder, move the save files, commin and commout stuff to the dummy folder, and move things back and forth. Unfortunately, it seems far too easy to get things out of synch that way. This is for the tutorial game I'm doing.
 
So, for the first one, I'm going to get two other players. It's easy for them: They do absolutely nothing except hit the "end phase" button each time they are up.
 
I may have to buy a second copy of the game, though, for the later games, since there will be "real" action happening for all seven powers in that one.
 
I never realized running a tutorial could be so expensive. Now, if I could just get Matrix to reply on my idea of secondary licenses ...

Someone has told me you can install more than one copy of the game on your PC, in different folders. However I haven't tested this and I'm unsure about the licence implications.

The licence says you may 'use' one copy of the game. Does that mean 'run' or 'have installed'. e.g. if you install two copies but only run them one at a time are you using one or two copies ?
