I modify people and peoplegroups.
Now i have problems.I make a peoplegroup SS (in the settings and peoples section)
I change a city to SS peoples.
Then set Aircrafts for SS in the item section to false.
But i can produce aircrafts !

I´m not 100% sure, but i think i had a similar problem.

If you play around in the editor and change something in the INITIAL itemtypes like Artillery
or Rifle the masterfile will always correct the changes again.
I just tried to change the who must own setting for Rifle (russia=false) with activated and deactivated masterfile.
With activated masterfile and saving it showed the setting as true after reloading.
With deactivated masterfile i attached the masterfile after my changes again (no read of people and peoplegroups).
It was the same, after reloading the "who must own setting" for my russians producing rifles was set on "true" again.

The only solution for the original itemtypes changes seems to be permanent detaching of the masterfile.
In my test i just did that worked. Vic always prefers attached masterfiles, so maybe he has a better solution.
Or maybe Tom ?

I bet there is a very simple solution for. We probably did something in the wrong order...
However, i runned out of ideas yet.

Which People owns the production centre? It needs to be "SS".

The 3rd screen shows it is SS.

The SS = false in the itemtypes is for "who must own". Germany is owning the town. And the people of Germany = Germans. not SS.

kind regards,
Vic

i have tested and tested. The problem is me now clear.
I can modify the (peoplegroup)"names" in the settings section. But in the item types section count the old values (with new names)further.I see Tom makes the "SS" production with an other solution. He set a new loctype :-)) But i think, not the best solution.

You'll have to change the "can be recruited from" of the sftype.

either that, or make a special SS Town locationtype.

kind regards,
Vic

Why i dont`t take SS for a town ? I want given SS units more morale !

My problem was always that the "who must own setting" switched back to the initial true.
And in my case the russians are the people of the Hex owner Russia.
But i tested what you said and the "can be recruited from" in the SFTypes screen did it.

I knew it must be a very simple thing i forgot...
Thanks, Vic !

@Vorsteher

I suggest you study Twebers GPW scenario. There he used what you have in mind.
SS fighting for Germany with higher morale. You should look at.
I think the key is that he used ss people, but in peoplegroup Axis together with Finns, Axis Minors and Germans.

Studying the scenarios of "professionals" like Tweber or Vic mostly helped me to understand.

But this the problem ,the peoplesgroups are wrong, when i modify this in the settings section. The names are okay, but the values ate the old.

Is already okay apparently understands me here no.But no problem, I that solve differently. [:'(]The editor is extremely flexible.
