...for a scenario? Someone did this for a GPW v5 game I'm in and I'd like to know how.

You have to edit the scenario. Go into Settings. There is a new button in there that says "Apply all location names" or some such. Hit that and everything gets a name that has a location name defined. Then save teh scenario.

I'm the one that did it for our GPW game. I then went throught the whole map and manually deleated all the names that were not important, like "Port" or "Airfield" for each of those occurances... missed one port near Riga. Very boring and tedious job but makes a lot less clutter on the map. I want to go through and add some lake and river names .... someday.... when I really have nothing better to do....
