Problem loading mod maps/scenarios

hey guys,
i tried installing the vietnam mod for CC3COI and everything looks fine except for that i still have all the original russia/germany compaigns and maps and NONE of the vietnam ones. i installed the 2 plug-ins that come with the vietnam download and unzipped the vietnam map pack into my maps folder. am i missing a step or something? any help would be appreciated, thanks!
also, when i try playing one of the soviet/german maps using the vietnam mod, i'm getting a no CD error message. i've already installed the exe file for fixing this error....
