Just curious if anyone is working on any real-world leagues....and I mean the actual teams and players, not just uniforms.

Reason I ask is I was considering doing a league, but dont want to do one that 2 or 3 other people are doing.

I have considered the folowing:
AFL - 1960
USFL - 1983
WFL - 1974
WLAF - 1991
XFL - 2001

Im not really interested in the NFL, I am more into a historical non-NFL league.
But if someone would like to team up, we could start a project and do one or a couple of the above leagues.

I wouldnt. Im not into simulations of real world football. I would like a league of say, the 83 USFL, all players and teams added.
I would create the teams, then a team profile for each to reflect the actual roster makeup, and let the game generate players. Then go in and change the names and other info to the actual players.
As for their ratings, I would likely just tweak here and there.

From the second I start my first game, it no longer is real anyway. Chuck Fusina could get a career ending injury and never play again. Im not in it for a simulation or replay. I just want to run the USFL or another league.

Although, I understand others may disagree.
