Gentlemen,
I have uploaded the following to FBMAX for semi-historical 1948 NFL simulation:
1) Uniforms for 14 teams plus uniforms for College All Stars and East & West All Stars for post season Pro Bowl game:
2) Common folder: This folder contains the skins/sleeves for the teams. Each team's uniform home & away folders contain the skin/sleeves. When a team is on the road, copy the away skins to the common folder before you play the game.
3) Pre 1960's Plays: Contains plays & playbooks suitable for simming American college or pro ball from the 1930's through the early 1950's.
You will probably want to tweak, alter, create new or delete plays from the file. Have at it and enjoy!
4) lge 1948NFL: Access 1997 database- copy the database into your MaxFB folder. The game should recognize it and accept it. It works for me. In game click on League Game and you should get the message box that says something like "A new league has been found." Click on "yes" to have the game include ithe league. This database is set as for a rosters, depth charts & player ratings are concerning. You will probably want to tweak things a bit to suit you.

For anyone that downloads these files, please PM me to let me know how you like them. Definitely, if you have questions about any of this or problems, post them or PM me.

Coach may have posted a verson 2.2 league file. That won't work with older versions.

What I put on FBMAX is 2.2. I had a senior moment there and didn't think about the fact that it might not be compatible. The uniforms will work though.

Sorry guys- 2.2 will probably be available to you soon.

OLD COACH , I was wondering how you made your L1 Files for the team symbols . Was getting ready to make those for the AAFL League and thought the background you used looked great . Was thinking of tinkering around with effects on PSP , To see what i could do .Thought i`d ask you , maybe a lot more easier way for those.

SAME HERE . I think we need to make individual playbooks for teams using the plays he created . I have feeling what shows on the team edit pages is blank play books .. Guess when i can , i`ll need to look up what some of plays were like then.

See below in the screenshot of my Pre 1960's play folder, I have 3 of the playbook "symbols" circled. This is what I zipped and uploaded to FBMAX. The playbooks should be there and you should be able to work with them.

I have a separate play folder for my modern plays and for my old school plays.
Over time, I had accumulated such a large play file that it was difficult to work with the PDS- took too long to scroll through all the plays. I exported all my playbooks and then created folders for Pre 1960's plays (old school) and the 1960's Plays (modern). Based upon which era of football I want to work with I rename the appropriate play folder "Plays" and then rename the unused folder Pre 1960's or 1960's plays, whatever the case maybe.

COACH , I finally figured it out . But noticed the 3 you circled were not in the group of plays and playbooks . I was wondering of the other playbooks which of them our close to the 3 that our circled.
