I've tried to download the update patch 3 times now and each time the files have been corrupt or invalid.

Anyone else expiriencing anything similar?

slow speeds experienced- 17kbps even though i have a broadband connection took 3 hrs to download. I have not even tried to extract or install yet. I just walked away and let the computer do its thing. I may have a go today.

I just installed OK- I did not extract the Zip file I simmply ran the install from inside the downloaded file. I don't know if this helps or if even it is the way you are supposed to download.

Looks like Matrix may have sped things up a bit now, now everyone download at once!  j/k
 
 

They certainley have speeded things up Tony.  And no invalid or corrupt files this time.  I'm a  [:)] man.

Yes.  I just downloaded the patch with the same result, zip file is corrupted.  I am using Vista on a Toshiba portable.  Any assistance would be appreciated.

Is it timing out for you?

It's a large file you man need to use a download manager to help with any internet hiccups that might occur.

Yes I am currently having that problem along with another. Slow is really an understatement, also errors. I tried to run the patch from fileforum, and it dowloaded but the game apparently doesn't recognize that it has been patched. Can't launch the game as it only allows updating or reading the manual.

You probably installed the patch to a location other than your existing HC installation directory. Try it again and make sure to choose the correct location.
