Ghost Fielder Makes Key Error

Tie game, bottom of the 10th, runners on 1st and 2nd with no outs. Bob Lacey pitches to "Disco" Danny Ford. The 1-1 pitch.......Bases loaded no outs. Although it never appeared in the scroll or in the Game Log, Ford either reached on a second straight error by Wayne Gross, or the program reverted back to the last known result and charged Gross with another error to account for Ford's at-bat. It was very strange, nonetheless.

A quick glance at the top of the Game Log screen says it all when it comes to the A's bullpen. I'm waiting for a reporter to ask me what I think of their execution, a la John McKay and his TB Bucs.

Q: What do think of your bullpen's execution today?
A: I think that's a great idea.

Maybe this was something to do with Wraithchild's disappearing runner?

Very weird.  But if it had to happen I'm glad it was the Angels that benefited.

Aha! Angels in the Infield, perhaps. Why couldn't my feeble mind have figured that one out. %@&# ! [;)]
