This one is a PBEM with Jakalo. Turn 3, and the Brazilians are marching to Panama.

I also am making good progress in Canada and New York...

Although my tanks suffered a beating in the attempt - over a hundred tanks destroyed(let alone damaged).

Turn 4

Landing forces in the South now, and will soon pocket the forces he sent on Turn 1 to save NYC.

On second turn I manage to encircle and destroy one of his Para taking very heavy casualties. Desert has activated Brazil entry and Panama will be lost soon. A defensive line is to be formed between Washington DC and Great lakes.

On turn 4 Desert commits a mistake and his troop transports are sunk. Here are shown attack against two out of three groups which were destroyed. Defensive line due to good advance of Axis force is thin to non-existent (in the South).

Hmm? All my paras are alive... Do you mean the one to the south of your Philadelphia Group? And those units you attacked in the sea...1 destroyed, but to be reconned, and another with about 4 tanks left inside it..[:@]

Hmmm...Turn 5 was slightly subpar...

These kinds of hypothetical scenarios make me want someone to simulate the Lizard invasion of the Earth in 1942. The Lizards have 1990s technology, so it should be feasible...

My elite troops march through the streets of American cities singing "Viktoria Sieg Heil!" Somewhere, the grandfather of the man who designed the travesty that is Turning Point: Fall of Liberty is executed.

Last turn was good for clearly superior USA forces. Encirclement around divisions which were sent to NY was broken. Industry is gearing to total war and more and more divisions are recruited. Axis air superiority however is a bit disturbing.

Hmm, some troops trapped, but things aren't looking to good there. I need a turn of rest to return to full strength. At least the Nicaraguans have mobilized.

Ok then, Nacaraguan troops took Tegucigalpa, removing the Hondurans from the war. They will now help the soon to be active Mexicans. Soon, the Brazilians and Venezuelans will encircle the remaining Panama Garrison. Oh yes, and I have to destroy the tiny El Salvador army as well. Anyway, some troops are going to go deeper inland in Canada, while others have linked up like so:



Jakalo removed the garrison in Baltimore, allowing me to attack and destroy it. I am now up to D.C.'s outer garrison.

Well, I am driving forward, but casualties are becoming unacceptable. I lost 23 tanks destroyed or damaged in the attack on the garrison near DC...

In another attack, even fresh American tanks were no match for superior German panzers, but 30 aircraft were lost in the attack. Their losses were approximately half that.

Yes, the drive to D.C. begins, and several encirclements as you can see here:

Mexico is activated, and the last Panama forces are trapped.

My AGS is desperately low in supply and needs some rest, but we have made good progress.

Ach scheisse! In the attack on Atlanta, I lost an entire HQ unit! Losses of upwards of a thousand men. I'll chalk it up to a POW revolt by the men from the Georgia NG unit I captured. [:'(]

In the final hours of the wayward pocket to the east, I lost a single Emmy, and took out a dozen Wellies and two dozen fighters.

In the Southern Canada pocket, I lost a couple hundred men, and captured over a hundred of the remaining British tanks. Richmond is mine too.

Oh, and I took Washington. This is turn 10, in case any of you are wondering.

Just wondering if either of you are using your theater options at this point?

Well, I used the Brazil option (of course), but I'm not sure if I used the Cossack aid option or not. I think Soviet entry is about 75 (100 entry means the Soviets declare war on Germany), so unless I get a lucky break I probably won't use the Japanese option.

Hmm yes, not much action from my side yet situation is not that dire as it seems. Although Washington DC is lost a defensive line is set up in the mountains and behind major river. First time playing this scenario for me but as I have find out I should get huge reinforcements around turn 20 so half way to hell Germans [:D]

On turn 12 nothing much happened in the North. Apparently Axis is gathering forces to strike Denver and most probably destroy any American chances of recovering. In the south Axis are not doing so good.
