Corrupt Game Save File?

Stock Witp scenario 41B Game date 3/15/42 RAF Squadrons 258, 30, and 136 just showed up as Lysander I's not Hurricane II's as per the Aircraft Reinforcement Schedule. I assume that this means I have a corrupt game save file or maybe 'just' the DB. Is there some way for me to detect the corruption so I can go back to an older clean file?

Not corruption - lack of Hurris is most likely cause of this... unit will downgrade if there are insufficient numbers of aircraft availalble. Other paths for Hurris might include C-47/Dakota... type of aircraft arriving depends on unit, number of a/c available, etc.
Several other threads address this in past few weeks... i will see if i can find some and reference them.

The thread started out talking about something else, but eventually the discussion gets around to the problem you mentioned - although in a wider discussion of the problem (includes disbanded and "destroyed" squadrons.)

Thanks for the reply -- and for the ability to continue the game. Since I am currently very short of Hurricane's, the downgrade makes perfect sense. I also looked at the file with WitP Decoder. It gave me lots of warnings about units with the leader bug but no other squawks. I expect that I'll try to fix the affected units and try to hang on. Fortunately the Brits get to upgrade relatively soon in game time.
Is any of this going to get in to the Admirals Edition documentation and/or the Wikie?

Not sure how AE is going to work yet (it is still a work in progress) but the documentation should be quite different than the current manual... i haven't posted on the WIKI and don't plan to right now.
