1. I'm getting the 'can't open file ...\graphics\battleback.bmp' error.
2. That file is nowhere on my hard drive.
3. How can I obtain that file, or, failing that, which file can I copy to that name to solve the problem.
4. Emails to support@matrixgames.com have not been responded to, nor questions in this forum.

I've had the game more than a month and I still haven't been able to play past the first few turns. The only reason I haven't given up is that I WANT TO PLAY THE GAME. That's why I spent money on it. If I can't play the game, I WANT MY MONEY BACK.

Hi Mike, my reply to you in email bounced back, said it couldn't be delivered. Very sorry to hear of the troubles you're having. You had a
hanging problem that has now been solved but you're now getting a file not found error?

Do you have the battleback.bmp file on your system? What folder is it in?

No, I can't find battleback.bmp anywhere on my system. I would think it would be in ...Matrix Games\Campaigns on the Danube\graphics, but the closest match is battleplansback.bmp. Do you have a copy of that file on your system? If there were any file by that name in that folder, the error wouldn't happen, but I didn't want to rename another bmp if I could get the right one.
