I am having some difficulty in locking the views on enemy planes. Is there a trick to it?

BobII padloak is very strong and flexible, unfortunately it is also a large subject. As Sarge said, your question is not specific. Review the following thread at Shockwave for some padlock information and its uses. One way to padlock is the "enter key"(it is a toggle for padlock). There are many other padlock keys.

Have you reviewed :
The key description Manual is here (over 100 keys).

once you get it all set up the way you want, it is pretty good(I Like, closest, one hunting me and next)
(the one hunting you, so you can call help for the wingmen, closest, as most times, the best way to hunt in a big fight is to keep changeing targets, and you would be surprised at how often a plane is right on the side, or under you, next is just for when you have time to pick and chose)

Yes made it easier to keep track once I figured it out. Now I just need to get a new joystick and it should make it that much better. My one only plugs into one of my systems. (older FF one) So been playing on my main system with keyboard .YIKES!!!
