ROF

Hi. I have a question about how ROF works. The manual indicates the ROF value is the number of shots per minute, but in the newest patch it looks like it's the number of seconds between firing...at least for gunfire. Example: Let's say a missile mount can fire 1 missile every 10 seconds. Would I put 10 or 6 in for the ROF value of the mount?
Can someone please fully explain how the system uses the ROF field?

Maybe someone else can fully explain, I'll just answer the first query, you would put 6 in as the ROF of the mount for gunfire if that gun mount had a single barrel. Missiles don't follow the same logic (yet), they fire every 15 seconds and don't adhere to ROF in as sensible a manner.

Ok. Understand. Gunfire (or any weapon type that doesn't create a sub-unit when fired, like ASW mortars, Depth Charges, etc) is rounds (or bursts or salvos) per minute.
Missiles are per 15 seconds? So my 1 missile per 10 second scenario would get a 1 on the ROF field. If a mount fired 1 missile every 7 seconds it would get a 2?
Am I on the right track here?
