Battleground Waterloo GPF

I have an old version of the UK Waterloo and have found sometimes after several days gaming I get a general protection fault that forces a shut down. " general Protection fault in BGW .exe " then a module. No matter what I do I can then not continue with that particular game. A shame after an investment of many hours getting to that point.
I am using XP but the original CD is for windows 95/98!

Any clues out there how to correct the error and be able to use the file in which it crashed again?

Hi Bigtone,

I have no idea why the game is crashing on you (never did for me) but why don't you buy the Matrix version?

Grell

That happened to me quite a bit. It happened a lot less after I patched the game to the latest version. I still have and use the original Talonsoft version. It happened rarely in PBEM games. The important thing is to save the file every so often to a different name so you can return to a pre-crash version.
