With the new 1.71 patch out, I fired up PureSim2007 after about a 3-4 month break from playing. I don't think this is related to v1.71, but for some reason, I can no longer look at a player card without clicking through error messages. When I click on the magnifying glass to see a player card, I get an error message saying "iertutil.dll missing..." blah blah. I Googled around and saw that others had this problem, but more related to general IE performance. My IE is working fine, and so is MOST of PureSim. I just get these annoying error messages before (after 3 tries) the program lets me see any player card.

Any help or advice?

Sounds like you have some strange IE addon installed. I suggest you try uninstalling any IE addons you have. This file is not included with PureSim.
