We're very excited on this special day to bring you this exclusive information on the upcoming Panzer Command: Kharkov release.

Matrix will release 3 versions "Green", "Veteran" and "Elite". The "Green" version will be $39.99, with "Veteran" priced at $59.99 and "Elite" priced at $89.99.

The more you pay, the more reinforcements you will get in your campaign games and the higher your priority will be for new replacements from HQ and the more help you will be able to ask for in the form of off-board bombardments and such.

Of course, you can "upgrade" your current version at any time.

The "Green" and "Veteran" versions will limit the random battle sizes and come with fewer maps and 3D models.

You can still use all the units with the Green and Veteran versions, however a Panzer I default model will be used as the unit placeholder. It's a very nice Panzer I.

This includes some infantry as well, but don't worry, our testing has shown that using a tank model in the place of infantry does not break the suspension of disbelief. After all the Panzer I is only lightly armored.

Not meaning to criticise but that`s a lousy design decision.
 
Why not just make the game store the player`s credit card info and just charge, in real time, for reinforcements and stuff as the user asks for them?
 
Heck you could even credit a user a couple bucks every time he captures an objective or knocks out an enemy. Casino style wargaming!

The frightening thing is, you could probably make a lot of money if you set this up properly and the game was addictive enough. [;)]

Hey, there are people willing to pay real-life money for WoW virtual gold, so why not this?
