JUST UPLOADED TO FBMAX!!!

NCAA League Beta Version 0.1

I have uploaded a league file to fbmax.com that contains all NCAA Div1A (FBS) & Div1AA(FCS) teams in the actual conferences. The rosters are made up of last years players, with ratings. The league is not really ready for season play, but I wanted everyone to check it out at least in quick play.

If you want to play with a team check its playbooks and depth chart before playing.

None of the artwork has been uploaded. Most of it can however be found at fbmax.com I do plan on having the the artwork on a FTP site soon, but beware the total size will probably be in excess of 200MBs.

Let me know how it plays. Im particularly curious to see how the ratings play.

Before the start of this coming season I hope to have a complete league including 2008 rosters, schedules, and many playbooks. So this is just a taste of things to come.

Actually the rosters are really the result of the work a guy at ncaastrategies.com did with hacking into the roster files for NCAA 08. I took his excel spreadsheet with the data including names and ratings and coverted it into something workable for MFB. Also JDHalftrack's editor helped fill in some of the missing ratings.

I am now working on converting these rosters into workable rosters for the upcoming season. Love doing the research. Also though just letting the computer play some games out. USC smacked Idaho around here's the stats

Since the game came out.

I just finished my first game. It was great, the rosters are very accurate. The only problem was that a few players had the wrong faces, but that to me is very minor. Thanks 21SEC great job.

Well I haven't completely customized any rosters. The skin colors are random. Also Discipline, Block Avoidance, Pocket Pressenece, and Coverage were all created with JDHalftrack's editor random ratings generator. So it's possible someone like Pat White might have a PckPressence of 87 when if I was going to rate him it would be around 60-65. Definitely beta version.

I would suggest changing them to playbooks you have on your computer. I've been hard at work on playbooks, and eventually in a future release will release playbooks that go along with the league. Just wanted to get the league file out there, show it can be done, and get some feedback.

Let the CPU play a game (La-Monroe at Mid Tenn St...SunBelt battle) this afternoon when I went for a run. Kind of wish I had been watching.

Where can you find the file on FBmax?

Under NCAA league beta version 0.1 in the unsorted area.

OK here is a link to where I have uploaded the graphic files for the NCAA league. It is 260MB, but it has the uniforms and field art for ALL the teams. Just unzip it into your main MFB directory. Let me know if you find any mistakes, missing items, or ideas for changes.

Special big things to DONMVP for a vast majority of these graphics. Also whoever else uploaded college graphics to fbmax since MFB's release.

I already added loads of uni's to your league myself
but I am having alot of missing face issues, that is really spirit breaking to sort out
so hopefully your images will sort that.

I've noticed that too, and it's on my list to figure out. Maybe David or Marauders can help. When in game the some players have no face, just a white void....kinda creepy[X(]

Will Do, but it'll take a day or two to get them all finished.
also when I get them finished and checked to make sure they work
