I am in a just started game when the IJN player seems to have developed problems with his e-mail[&:] so we are looking for somebody to take over.
We did a historical open
It is 12/19 and the basic situation is
No bbs sunk at PH, but half the BBs are damage 90+, the other half are
50+. An ungodly amount of cruisers were also damaged.
PI. The Japanese have a bunch of the small islands and on the big one, have everything but clark, corrigor and Manila. Manila seems to be the place for the last stand.
Malaya - Allies seen falling back to Jahore, Sing...A couple of units might get cut off in the run back.
DEI Brunei has fallen. Virtually no damage.. Transports seen heading for Kuching.
Losses...Fairly light..Allies have lost around 50 boats, mostly transports, 1 sub, maybe a dd or 2.
IJN has lost about 10 ships, mostly transports maybe a dd or 2 and 1 sub.
House rules are pretty standard and can be discussed with a new player but basically
No upgrading US 2 engine to 4 engine.
4 engine naval attack above 10,000 feet (and no B-29 at all)
no sub invasions
no using the advance function in shock attack
PT boats limited to 6 in TF. No more than 2 PT TFs per hex.
No strategic bombing in or from China
After the historical start, Japan is free to attack without any constraints about LBA distance
If interested please contact me. I will then have the present opponent
send the latest information, password.
