I am a dummy

wanted some more speed for my team, overall they are pretty slow

I get Reyes and Gomas from the Mets, then get Crawford from TB, then think about it and I want to see if I can Granderson from the Tigers, they don't really like what I want to give up

try this and try that, and finally get a trade they like, oh boy

go to the roster, and were is my left fielder ? ooops

traded Crawford !

ended up, giving up more for him, to get him back, then I gave up to get him to start with !!!!

but I got my speed in the outfield now, with Crawford, Sizemore and Granderson, Reyes to fill in at short and pitchrun, plus got a lot younger, but...

Sometimes you have to go in a roundabout way to get a player you want. I once desired two players from a team, but couldn't get a two for two deal worked out. I finally had to do two separate one for one deals.

A bit of trickery sometimes must be resorted to, but as long as the AI GM is happy with it, and if you maintain the player-for-player ratio (that's only fair to do), then go for it. Heck, I've also traded for one player in order to get another one from a different team. These sort of multi-team trades used to happen frequently, but now they are rare.

got to laff though, going for speed, Granderson was thrown out at 3rd base twice on a fly ball to the wall in right

Crawford, hits a grandslam to win the game in the 7th inning of a tight game

(bad luck !, see my running with twice the speed of the outfielders arm, get thrown out on a deep fly, but the AI is safe with a running with half the speed of my outfielders arm on a short fly)

Team batting is slowing dropping, league Ave is .275 now

my hotshot 2nd baseman, with the 11-10 rateings, can't buy a hit
