Is there any possibility to turn off the terrible voices of the soldiers (especially the germans, it hurts my "germaness" to hear such undefinable squabble [;)]) ?
I would volunteer for new voice overs for the germans if need be.
anywho...having great fun so far with the game!
thx,
himmel

The "offending" file is Media/Sounds/DistantGermanOrders.wav
You can try deleting it, you may need to "null" it out however. That should fix your problem. You can, of course record a new one and share it if you like [:D]

nah...that did not work so well. i took the file out and the game would stop loading at the sound loadup.
but i bet i could make a new one and replace it...so as long as there is a germanorder.wavefile it should work.

Hi himmelstoss, you can grap my little mod here.... it does the trick.

I could make a silent wav file if you want. But it will have to wait until I come home later today.
And I want a more subtle clicking sound. Working on that also.

Hey, only the finest German Gibberish-Speakers were used to make that sound! [;)]
