LoS Issue

AN a targeting issue.
It seems to me there is no reason for this tank unit to NOT have los to the barn, apart from the fact it is blocked by that big fence...but I cannot target that barn.
I believe someone else has mentioned LoS and pathing issues in another thread.

That's not a bug - as you see there is no spotted unit in the barn for you to target. You think there is one there (the ? mark) but you haven't discerned its exact position yet. Your best bet is to choose HE and target it just outside the building so the area fire box covers part of the building. Alternately, move a bit further forwards, stop and see if you can spot the actual enemy squad in the building to target them directly.

Ok. Just went back to that. An enemy unit is now showing and I can target the building.
Also, I get the target area in front of the building. If that's how it works, then that's fine. But it [/i]is[/i] kind of strange to see that I don't have los to a building, but I do have los to the ground in front of it.

I've seen this in other case ... such as a ? in the woods. My tank cannot shoot at it, show LOS blocked ... however, just aiming slightly left/right or forward/backward gives me a chance for area fire only a few meters away.
Very odd yeah, but works for the pesky AT Gun that I saw there earlier and usually the HE area fire is enough to either whack him, or suppress him enough to abandon the gun or for another unit to peek around the corner and get an LOS on him.

In your case, the ATG crew is sitting still in cover, using binoculars to spot your tank, whether your tank is facing the ATG or not. Your tank crew saw something, giving you the ?. Not that LOS is blocked, just that you have no LOS to a target or where you think the target is.
