Number of turns remaining?

Is there a way to tell how many turns remain in a scenario? Or, for that matter, how many there are in a scenario? I just tried the final boot camp mission, and the briefing suggested I had plenty of time, but while I made steady progress, I ran out of time. I don't mind the idea of time limits; I know that it's sometimes imperative to take an objective within a particular amount of time. (In fact, I'm used to ASL, in which there was *always* a time limit.) But I can't seem to find the time remaining on the main map screen. I've tried in vain to find an explanation in the manual too.

Any advice on this? Is time remaining part of the fog of war? I can live with it if so, so long as the victory conditions give me some vague sense of how fast I need to move (or how long I need to delay, if on defense).

Grotius,

It is largely determined by the victory meters which are directly below the nationality icons.

It is all fully explained in the manual [;)]

You'll find that the vast majority of scenarios in Panzer Command do not have any time limits. If they do, its in the form of an accruing VP bonus that starts after some point. The briefing (as far as I know) should always tell you this. Keep an eye on those VP meters, they are the entire determinant on when the scenario ends.

OK, thanks! I will watch those victory meters more closely.
