Idea: Bonus for Long-Term TF

I've been re-reading accounts of WW2 surface actions over the past few days, and there's one critical element that I'm not sure is modeled in WITP (correct me if I'm wrong): the advantage of forces that have worked together and drilled together for a long time over an ad-hoc task force cobbled together only days before.

I wouldn't want this implemented too severely, as players want the flexibility to switch around quite a bit, and it's a lot more fun. But instead of a big penalty for just-formed TFs, could we have a slowly growing bonus when a group of ships have been squadroned together for a long time?

That's not possible under the current system.

If I find a winning combination, especially in ASW units, I write them down and keep them together, as a unit. They will get their own "bonus" in way of experience level. The secret for me has been to select a good commander, high agression and navy capability..

In other words, something like land unit prep points, only for naval units. It could be used as a modifier in surface combat along with the combat ratings of the officer in command perhaps.
