So I figure i will be joining the club and picking up maxfb tommorow, so I had a question about graphic modding. now i realize that jersey's will be far different than madden but as for helmets and field art how difficult would it be to convert my madden 04/07 mods into maxfb? (essentially then are just 256 color bmp's)

I'm hoping some of it would be convertible. and here is an example of some of the work i did that i would love to transfer over.

Welcome, hope you have as much fun as I have with this game. Your main logos should work fine, but not sure about the other stuff. The link you posted was from EA mods, whats it like over there with Madden 08 the same as 06 and 07 and no Madden 09 planned. What year are your AFL unis from. We have some over here, but there a couple of years old. It shouldn't be to hard to convert the jerseys.

it was only 3 uni's from AFL (the project died, though i have a few more that just need some finishing touches) 2 albany teams and i cant remember the 3rd of the top of my head.
 
as for madden 08 i dont know i didnt buy it lol as a coach mode guy i gave up on madden.
 
so hopefully i can figure it out and contribute to the modding

Making MaxFB unis are not to hard to make, but certain images have to be stretched. There in a very good how to guide by Bassman. It was written before the game was released, but it will get you started.

I know we have at one time made every AFL team EVER
this was done last year. So we don't have them updated to todays unis but they are close.

I wish we could get an AFL roster done, that would be sweet.

my big hope is to be able to get the CFL stuff done first and then if I can figure out how to mod it. (I have zero graphic talent lol) I'll just do them because it's fun to do and I'll be wide open to requests. As for field art, can each team be assigned its own field art?

Each team has there own fiel art, your Madden field art should also work with Maximum Football. I thnk the CFL has been done recently, but not sure.

They do. I think under screen shots. If you meen www.fbmax.com they don't have screen shots, but www.maximum-football.com does. I hope this helps.

ya i meant screenshots of the mods. i've always liked to see a sneak peek before downloading. lol

best bet is to look in graphics discussion area , most of us have posted shots of all our uniforms or other stuff there . I think you can look back as far back as 6 to 9 months

I dont do sneak peeks sorry bro
but I never upload a uni to FBMax unless I'm 100% happy with it
and feel its worthy of sharing
