Is there a way to increase the size of the map in the briefing area? I like to try for as much realizm as possible and would rather think out the mission on the briefing mape and then restrict myself to unit views during the game.

Not at this time, sorry. I've added a larger briefing map and one that can be called up in-game to the wish list.
