White Out (I wish)

I have noticed with all my arenas that there are no fans. At first I thought one stadium, but it is all of them. I reinstalled 2.27 and still have the same problem.

Is this with the game default stadiums or custom stadiums?

Both and this is during quick play if that helps. I have not played AFL in league play yet. I have not edited any stadiums so I don't know why it's doing it.

Only in Quick Play games?

Is your graphics card otherwise powerful enough?

Marauders,
I havn't tried league play and I have a brand new 2008 gaming computer [:D] so I hope the graphics card has enough. Some fans do show up like 4 or 5 sets in the 4 corners of the arena.

Hi.

The screen shot you're showing is of a custom arena.

That said I suspect that it's something with the graphics card. Either lack of memory or out of date drivers.

thanks
David

Thats really weird, because my other computer has a low graphics card and it does fine. I wonder why it only does it in Arena indoor football stadiums. I just updated my graphics card drivers.

Of the unpacked arenas, I usually have the least problem with the indoor arena.

If you look into the arena folder, are all of the correct graphics files in the folder?

Are they all .bmp files rather than .jpg files?

Were the graphics files modified?  When I save any graphics files as .bmp files within MGI Photosuite, the game cannot see them and gives me whiteout conditions like you have.  In that case, I have to load and save them in Paint or another program that saves to a standard .bmp format.

They are in .bmp. I didn't edit the crowd files, but have also noticed that in Stadium 1 the trees behind the endzone are white. I have uninstalled the game, deleted all the files completely and reinstalled the game and I still have this problem. I have no idea what to do right now so any help would be great.
Thanks

I guess the best way to this is to have one of us test your stadium file. That way we can rule out your PC. Arena and Stadium1. Just a thought. But then again you mention that you have tried it on another PC?

If you could send me a working unpacked arena that would be great. Please test it just to be sure though. My email is therhino5@yahoo.com
Thanks
