Austria and France at War. Charles is being chased north by Napolean and Soult. (not my finest hour). Winter movement. Chales and his stack just moved into this area, and didnt get the option to destroy the French depot.

Well Depot has garisson. And i remember Richard saying then it was a programming issue. That battle occurs.

Anyway, from what you mailed. It required battlefile exchanged. Which sounds more like a bug, since this is trivial combat like siege(when depot is alone and no corps present).

Question did you select area for combat, or use "next combat" in the combat menu ?
I do belive to remember while testing, that sometimes game wants to create a unneeded file-exchange when you select area, while it just runs "trivial" battle when you select next battle.
