Viewpoint adjustment

The last couple of days I've gotten a more comfortable with PC:K. So I was playing a battle turn have been chaning my viewpoint, moving from viewpoint 2, which is probably what I use the most, to viewpoint 1 for lower level view.

One thing I've noticed though, that bothers me is if I lower my viewpoint below level 1, ie, get down closer to ground level, I can lower it ok, but if I go too far, it bounces back up to level 1 veiw, rather than just stopping.

Not sure I'm clear, but I'd like to be able to scroll the viewpoint down below level one, but not have to worry about "going to far" and bouncing back up to level one.

Thanks
Rick

That "bounce" is to prevent the edge of the "camera" going under the map. I agree it would be better as a stop rather than a bounce, but in some cases it's also dependent on the terrain contours as far as whether as you move the camera needs to move up (if you're way down). I'd suggest selecting a unit and Tabbing to it to set the lowest camera level, then cruise around from there.

That's interesting, I'll have to look out for it.

Thanks, and yes I have been using the tab to unit and cruising from there, I just tend to almost always inadvertably create my own "bounce" as I'm moving to the place I'm interesting in. My wife says I cant hardly touch the mouse without clicking a button or rolling a wheel.

Thanks
